1957 Nash Metropolitan 1500 Coupe, Fully Restored, Low Milage, NO RESERVE

In 1996 a complete frame off restoration of the body and interior was done. The work was done by Horseless Carriage Restorations. Mileage was 48,000 at that time. Current mileage is 49,294. That is less than 1300 miles in 22 years. This Metro has been garage kept for the last 22 years.

In 2013 at 48,975 miles a new Master Brake Cylinder was installed and all four brake cylinders rebuilt. A new Clutch Master Cylinder was installed and the slave cylinder rebuilt. New wheel lug nuts were also installed.

In 2015 a major mechanical restoration was undertaken. Most of the work was done by Metropolitan Restoration Services. Some of the work done is as follows: NEW REAR WINDOW SEALS, NEW DOOR AND SIDE WINDOW SEALS, NEW IGNITION SWITCH, RADIO REBUILT, ODOMETER AND SPEEDOMITER REBUILT, CONVERTED FROM 12 VOLT POSITIVE TO 12 VOLT NEGATIVE GROUND, NEW NEGATIVE GROUND DISTRIBUTER, PETROMAX ELECTRONIC IGNITION INSTALLED, REBUILT CARBURATER INSTALLED, NEW FUEL PUMP, NEW WATER PUMP, ALL NEW HOSES AND BELTS, NEW TAPERED WHEEL BEARINGS, NEW REAR SPRINGS AND BUSHINGS, NEW FRONT COIL SPRINGS AND CUSHIONS, NEW TIE ROD ENDS, FOUR NEW SHOCK ABSORBERS, WHEEL ALIGNMENT, NEW TIE ROD ENDS, OIL AND WATER TEMP GAUGE INSTALLED, VOLT GUAGE INSTALLED, SCREW ON OIL FILTER CONVERSION, CONVERSION TO DROP IN AIR FILTER, WHEEL ALIGNMENT. And much more.

In 2016 an electronic fuel pump was added.

The wide white wall tires look like new and have 100% tread depth.They still have the little rubber tits on themlike anew tire.The paint job is very good but probably not Concourse grade.A new $400 car cover will be included for FREE.
