Incredible Montana barn find - 1954 Nash Statesman Super Airflyte. We found this rare vehicle (only ~11,000 were produced, and few have survived in such good condition) at an estate auction in Hamilton, MT. The car is now located in Boulder City, NV, just 20 minutes from the Las Vegas airport. It appears the previous owner had gotten most of the way through the restoration when he parked it in the mid '90s. The paint colors are correct, there's minimal rust, and the car runs, drives, and stops. Since obtaining this Nash, we've cleaned it up, drained and changed all of the fluids, and put together some of the parts the previous owner had left in a box (everything appears to be original and it's all there). The car does need a new interior, but all of the original materials (except for seat upholstery) are there to match. The engine is a 195.6 cu. in., L-head inline 6, and the transmission is a three-on-the-tree. The previous owner converted the car to 12V, but we have the 6V parts in case the buyer is interested in converting back to original. Everything mechanical appears to be working, and the car runs great for a ~60 year old car that was sitting in a barn for twenty-some odd years. This is a beautiful car, just waiting for someone to complete its restoration. Check out the photos, and send us a message if you're interested or have any questions!
