Description of 1957 Nash Ambassador

This is an extremely rare car. I've only seen two in my life. Very few have survived. It needs restoration, but that being said, it shouldn't be that difficult. I have been able to get the engine to crank but not turn over. I cleaned the spark plugs and changed the fluids and bought a battery for her but wasn't able to get it started. There is one broken wire which is a ground on the distributor that I tried to fix but I'm thinking it's still not getting a spark. The gas tank was empty so the lines should be clean. The tires are old. The interior has had some work to it, It's all original except paft of the lower section of the front and rear lower seats had the fabric upholstry replaced while retaining the rest of the original vinyl. I'll try to get pictures posted. The headliner is all there but a bit dirty and the door panels are all there but a bit wavy due to moisture but they can be saved. The carpet is original too in the back, front is missing but no holes in the floor. Padded Dash Board is pretty dry and wavy and needs restoration. All the body pieces are there too.

It does have the 327 V8 and Air Conditioning. (air not working, engine turns with starter)

I'm only selling due to storage issues and moving. Have to thin out my collection of cars. I've only owned this two years but haven't been able to get to it due to other projects. This car has a California pink slip that's been signed. I can get either a Maine Title letter or a Virginia Title. The buyer can decide what they want.

The car has to be removed 30 days after the auction is over. Then an 80 dollar a week storage charge comes into play. After 35 additional days, if the car isn't gone, the money will be refunded with the exception of the 500 deposit which will be used to cover the storage costs.

It's a 10 day auction, more photos will be uploaded next Sunday. I'll be in Maine and will take additional photos of the engine bay and interior

I can help with arranging for shipping to Europe, the car can be shipped out of Portland Maine, or Newark New Jersey.

more pictures to follow. Again, the car is originally from California, it's currently in Augusta, Maine.
