Description of 1955 Nash

This really nice ’55 Custom Nash Rambler was purchased new in June, 1955 at Nelson Motors in Monrovia, California and was a legitimate little old lady’s car for most of its life. After the owner’s passing, the car was shipped to her son in Florida where it continued a rust-free existence. I have enjoyed my purchase in NJ for about a year, but due to my age of 85 I am “thinning the herd” and reducing my collection.

This Rambler is an attention-getter and everyone seems delighted to see it. '55's seem to be relatively rare. It is in show-ready condition. Its one repaint shines beautifully with only minor chips. I’ve done some powder coating to assure a high quality look, including the horn ring, door sills, and grille. Hubcaps and bumpers are excellent chrome. The WW tires have very good tread and the spare travels in a classy continental tire rack. Original paperwork, owner's manual, and service manual included.

Equipped with a 4 speed automatic and a 90HP six, even the clock works. The AM radio lights, but won’t get a station. Interior is very clean, including a spotless headliner, carpeted trunk, and door cards. Odometer reads only 17200 miles and is being sold as is.
