Description of 1992 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo

1992 Nissan 300ZX Twin TurboThis 300ZX was owned by a customer of ours the last several years. We had replaced the a/c compressor. drier. and evaporator a few years ago. He purchased the car with a blown motor and he installed a low-milage JDM engine when he 1st bought it. However. he did not replace the timing belt at the time of the engine install. The customer was an older guy with older kids and he used it as a daily driver. A couple months ago the timing belt broke. He sent the car to us and we told him the valves were going to be bent as a result but we went ahead and tried to save her anyway. We installed a new t-belt just to make sure 100% that it actually did have bent valves and sure enough. it did. At this point. the customer didn't have the capital to get the engine repaired so we ended up buying the car from him. So. we pulled the engine and sent the heads out to a machine shop and had them fully reconditioned. We then installed all new gaskets. timing belt. water pump. timing belt tensioners. pulleys. thermostat. seals. and engine mounts. We pressure washed the engine bay and the engine. We inspected the turbos and all other related components then re-installed the engine with new spark plugs. drive belts. and radiator hoses. After installing the engine we flushed the transmission with synthetic trans fluid and oil. You can be assured that the engine and trans are functioning perfectly! We inspected the brakes. suspension. and everything else. We don't see anything else the car needs. She runs great and is super quiet and smooth. We tuned the ECU and bumped up the boost ourselves but other than that it was totally stock when it came in. We just sent it over to our painter and had the entire car repainted. It is not a cheap ass Maaco paint job or something. The materials alone were over $800 and I had to pay my painter and body guys to do the work. It has also been wet-sanded and buffed. The car looks awesome. It has a set of 2010 Mazda RX8 wheel and tires on it. If you don't like these I can put stock wheels on it or what ever you want. It is currently an Automatic transmission. If you want it to be a manual transmission then we can do that also but it would cost appox $1500 for the parts. I would supply all the parts and do the work for this price. If you want an aluminum flywheel and a SPEC stage 3 clutch and an aluminum 1-piece drive shaft OBVIOUSLY I couldn't do that for $1500. But I would do it for parts cost $250 labor. Other than this. Buy with confidence. This is a good running Z with a strong engine. Body is in great shape. Doesn't look like it's ever been hit. Call us with any questions you might have. ThanksDoug
