Description of 1989 Nissan GT-R |
1989 Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 with 51,258km (31,850 miles). One of 765 ‘89’s to have paint code #732 Black Pearl Metallic. This car is completely stock, it has never been modified from its time in Japan to the US. It is a 1 Japanese owner - 1 US owner car. Chassis Code: BNR32-000814 Model Code: KBNR32RXFSLMZG As the pictures show, the car is in beautiful condition. At 27 years old, the paint still looks like new, the interior is in almost mint condition compared to a lot of the r32’s that you can find on the market today. One of the only areas on the interior worth mentioning is that the area of the dash directly above the center vents is starting to lift, you can see it in the pictures. That is a typical trait of these cars and it is very minor so it is not bad enough to get fixed. The only things that are not “stock” on the car are the fog lights in the front grill that were there when it arrived from japan, and it has a Toll road access card reader installed under the dash. Both look to be professionally installed but can be removed in an afternoon if desired. I have done my best to show the underneath of the car so you can see just how solid this car is. The common areas for rust to appear on these cars is right above the wheel wells and in the trunk under the spare. Both of those areas on this car are strong and show no signs of corrosion beginning. Mechanically, the car is in excellent condition, everything works as it should and everything is correct to factory spec. Brakes and clutch are strong. Being stock, it does have the original exhaust and air intake system which are usually the first thing to go on these cars when people own them. The Factory glass is also still in the car and lends to the fact that this car has never been abused. It also had new Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 tires put on it less than 200 miles ago that match the correct factory size. This isn’t another r32 at an import dealer that “specializes” in GTR’s. This car is a real one, with no apologies to make. You can see what it is in the pictures and you are going to get what you pay for. It is in a heated storage building right now, if you buy it, it can stay there while shipping is worked out. Any specific questions on the car, don’t hesitate to ask, and if you’d like to get the car professionally inspected, I’d be happy to meet anyone to look it over. |
