Description of 1990 Nissan 300ZX |
I have a 1990 Nissan 300zx, non-turbo, 2+2, automatic for sale. A little about this car... I purchased this car with the intention of restoring it, and have been slowly doing so! It would not shift into overdrive, and shifted very hard into Drive and 3rd gears - so, I had the transmission rebuilt. It had a LOT of hesitation while driving, so I took care of every single problem that I could find on it, and it drives great now! It's 100% stock (except for the aftermarket spoiler on the back,) and I had intended on keeping it that way. Now, it does have a salvage title. This is due to it getting hail damage all over the front hood, and a few small spots on the rest of the body. It will look great once the hood is replaced, because the other 2 or 3 spots aren't very noticeable at all.. The clearcoat is peeling in a few spots, but overall the paint looks mostly good for being a 26 year old car! The t-tops do not leak! Also, I recently found the STOCK t-top shades, and they were in damn near mint condition - if you know anything about these cars, you'll understand what a good find that was! The interior is a little rough as well..the leather on the door panels, and main area of the t-tops is shrinking and will need to be replaced. Other than that, the carpet/dash/etc.. all look good! The seats are worn in, but I think they're comfortable! The steering wheel is pretty worn! I should have vacuumed it out before taking pictures, but oh well. Also, ignore the little thing dangling under the steering wheel - it's part of the alarm, and I mounted it under the wheel after this was taken. Now, on with the good: Fully rebuilt automatic transmission - shifts good! (about 2,500 miles ago) - comes with 1yr warranty from Brownies IT! Brand new belts (including timing belt) all within 1,500 miles Brand new front pads and rotors (done about 1,000 miles ago) Replaced ALL vacuum hoses (less than 500 miles ago) Replaced plugs with stock NGK plugs (about 1,000 miles ago) Replaced TPS Replaced both coolant sensors Replaced thermostat with fail-safe Flushed entire cooling system Replaced air filter Replaced transmission computer (TCU) Cleaned throttle bodies Replaced entire upper plenum Hooked up a Viper alarm/keyless entry system |
