Description of 1980 Nissan 280ZX

Very Fast on the track! Fun car on roadcourse! 1. 7 mile in 1. 54 sec at Motiva Speedway! O BOY!!!!This car has a new drive shaft and both rear half shafts are newly changed with rebuilt ones. The heater core and Evaporator for the AC have just been replaced with new parts as well! The heater control valve just changed too with a rebuilt one. The AC and Heat WORK! Fresh r-12 charged into system. compressor runs fine. some of the doors for the ductwork do not at this time though. but has air at feet and windsheild both hot and cold. Probably pressure actuators or controller which are both available still on ebay and other places. Rear window struts are new. It has a new battery and locking oem gas cap with keyon it too!It is a 5 speed manual and the clutch feels fine. The tires are worn but not significantly yet. The gears are tight and the pickup in the acceleration through the gears is very impressive!It was purchased locally. Albuquerque that is and has original Melloy decal. in 1980 and has been in the desert for the whole life of it. The paint has some damage. the seals too. The is very little rust and the only rust was caused by dried out window seals and summer rains not road grime winter type. The interior is pretty nice still too. Comfy with lumbar support and tip for seat adjustments as well. The Radio only plays am and the cassette deck does not work. i use a boom box to play cds. i can include it with the car for tunes if desired and requested. A lot right with this little car but a lot wrong with it too. I tried to represent it as it really is and hope the pictures help with this too. It has value for sure and as i said personally. it is FUN on the road course and handles very well for such a dated vehicle. I would call it good condition overall. This will be hard one for me to let go of! This is a FUN FUN car!
