1987 Nissan Pulsar NX SE. 2nd owner for 15 years. Garage kept, rust free. Motor and tranny upgraded to a JDM - CA18DET from 1.6 twin cam. project is about 95% complete. The 1.8 liter engine with 5 speed manual transmission (new clutch) is installed. What needs to be done is: Turbo and intercooler have not been installed yet, because all other componentsand wiring need installation also. Everything is there just has to be attached (bolted on)and wired (wiring is there). Clutch cable needs attaching. Exhaust needs only 2 studs on flange removed and 2 bolts installed. Will need tires but all factory alloy rims are in great condition. Interior is also in great condition, see pictures. The only 2 problemsare a hole in upper back of drivers seat, and a heat crack in dash. Locking T-top's store under back area and over spare tire. Rear hatch is also made to be removed. Previous owner had it repainted and the clear coat is flaking off. Newer upgraded shocks. I still have original motor (bent valves) and tranny.Here is more info. on the motor from Wikipedia :The 1.8LCA18DETwas the last version of theCAengine to be released. It produces 167hp (124kW) and 166lb·ft (228Nm). It received a brand newDOHCaluminum head with 16 valves. Theturbochargerwas also upgraded to a Garrett T25 (.48 A/R) unit for increased flow capacity, and as such, was fitted with anintercoolerto help prevent the onset of pre-ignition and/or detonation. Fuel was delivered via Multiport Fuel Injection. Bore is 83mm (3.3in), and stroke is 83.6mm (3.29in). An electronically controlled fuel injection system was used with 370cc injectors.
