I am retired and restore/resto-mod cars as a hobby. I purchased this car on eBay last September for $16,500 from a Seller in Riverside, CA as a winter project.

  • New radiator
  • New A/C condenser, dryer and belt. The A/C system has been converted to R134a and charged (oil and refrigerant)
  • New oil pan and rocker cover gaskets
  • New motor mounts
  • New front struts and rear shocks
  • New sway bar and drop link bushings
  • New brakes: master cylinder, flex lines, calibers, pads, rotors, inner/outer wheel bearings (on both front and rear).

  • New tires (1500 miles on set)

The car is in great shape and runs fantastic!I drove it up from Scottsdale, AZ to Sammamish, WA at the beginning of June and it ran like a Swiss watch!Overall, this thirty-nine-year-old classic is in great condition. It does show some cosmetic wear - primarily on the exterior. Though no rust, it could use a professional paint job (something I don't do). I would rate its current paint at a 6.5 out of 10.

Steering wheel controls (SWC) functionality became inoperable as a result of the new head unit install.Nissan used an LED emitter to transmit SWC signals from the steering wheel buttons to the original head unit.New head units no longer operate on this technology; however, there is an adapter (PAC SWI-X) that can be installed to bridge this issue and return SWC with the new head unit (see XenonZcar.com for a full write up on this). I did not pursue this when I installed the new head unit, but the Buyer may still choose to do that if desired. Please note that the antenna half-mast/full mast toggle switch is connected and hooked up, but tucked behind the face plate. The feature was a nice gimmick in the mid-80's but is not useful. However, the switch is there and connected so you can cut out an opening on the faceplate and install it if you desire.

If you are looking for a great car for weekend cruises or a project to upgrade, this car is for you.All significant expenses have been addressed, and it is currently in very good condition. More importantly, it is priced well below what it is worth or would cost you to buy a similar make/model/year and bring up to this standard. Yes, my opening list price means I am taking a $3000 loss on this car! My loss, your gain - hobbies cost money. I am eager to sell it to make room for another project car for this coming winter. Bid with confidence, this is exactly as described.
