Description of 1964 Oldsmobile Cutlass F85 |
Up For Auction 1964 Oldsmobile Cutlass F85 2 door hardtop This is an old street race. The car has a pretty nice body. Nice fenders. roof. doors. solid floors and frame. The car at some point had lower rear quarter patch panels installed. The quarters will need a little work. The trunk had a few small patches put in at some point but is still very solid. I just dont want any surprises for the winning bidder. Very solid overall. The glass. bumpers. nbsp;and stainless are nice. Nice old centerlines with new front tires and good rear tires. The car has a 12 bolt rear but I have no idea of gears. etc. The underside of the car is very clean. solid and nice. The car has old candy red paint. It needs paint. It has a Grump Lump Jenkens vintage hood scoop on it. Here is what I have for drivetrain. I just had a 455 professionally built for the car. 455 . 030 with new Keith Black pistons with file fit rings. The rods were resized and new ARP rod bolts installed. A new Competion Cams 268H Extreme cam and lifters was installed. New timing chain. high volume oil pump. chrome oil pan. and a edelbrock performer intake manifold was installed. The heads are the good old oldsmobile C coded heads. Big valves and a new valve job and seals. There is $4000 in the motor. I have all the pulleys. bracketss and a new water pump too. I have an HEI dist and plug wires to go with it and a 780 holley. When I bought the car a TH400 was in the trunk and that will go with it along with a set of headers. There is a super nice 2. 5" exhaust with an H pipe under the car which is like new. The driveshaft is in the trunk too. It is quite complete. The interior has a nice dash. nice steering column with tilt wheel. Vintage mallory tach and Stewart Warner gauges. The headliner has one small tear. It has 70's vintage camaro buckets and no rear seat. Nice original door panels. There is no carpet in the car. You can see how nice the floors are. Please feel free to give me a call. This is a really cool old Hot Rod. You could put it together and drive it as is. A FAST old sleeper here. Call Larry at 320-766-1074 I can help assist with the shipping. All shipping expenses are the winning bidders responsibility. Good Luck!! |
