Up for sale by a private seller is a beautiful classic, 978 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calasis. The history behind the car is what makes it so unique. It was the very first car sold by a new Oldsmobile dealership which had just opened in Havre de Grace, D. The owner took meticulous records (which are included with the vehicle) including every tank of gas which he used.

Nineteen years later the owner returned to the dealership and traded the car in. The owner of the dealership kept the car in his shop up until the dealership closed its doors in 2009. Then in 2010 he spent a little over $5,000 to have certain areas of the car redone. His idea was to keep the car for sentimental reasons. But once all of the restoration work was performed, he car was rarely driven and now he has decided to sell it.

Listed below are some of items on the car which have been refinished. You can also view the original window sticker photo to see the factory options.

In 2010 the Olds was repainted, ncluding hand painted pin striping. All new exterior trim was replaced, ew brakes, inyl top was replaced, ew tires, nd a tune up. The car starts and drives great, ll of the gauges work including the AM/FM/Cassette player. All of the floors appear solid and the car has never been in any major accidents. The only item which may need attention is the engine. It has developed either an exhaust leak or valve tap. It has not been diagnosed.

The interior shows some wear, ut the upholstery is in excellent condition.
