Up for auction is a 1940 Olds Series 70 2-door sedan, erfect for a restoration or hot rod. It has the original flathead 6 and three-speed transmission. Car is in as-found condition. I have not tried to turn the engine over, he transmission does shift through the gears, lutch and brakes work. The guy I bought it off of saved it from getting scrapped, farmer pulled it out of his barn and hauled it to the scrapyard. I bought it for a project 2 years ago and have not found the time to work on it. My kids are growing up fast and my time is better spent with them, y loss is your gain. The body and frame are in what I consider to be great shape for a 75-year-old car, have seen 10-year-old cars in worse shape here in Ohio. The floor boards are shot, am including a complete replacement set I bought here on eBay. She seems to be fairly complete, ll the stainless is in the trunk including the original hub caps! This would be a great, nexpensive project for someone who has the time to devote to her.**Sold with a bill of sale only** Bid now to get a great deal! This is a no-reserve auction, he first bid could win this! **Please note that I am not an expert in vintage cars, ust a backyard mechanic that has had quite a few in his day.As such, his automobile is being sold as-is, ith no warranties expressed or implied. Please ask questions before you bid, will be happy to answer them to the best of my ability and/or provide you with any additional pictures youmay need.** Bid early and often, ou don't see one of these around every day!! |
