Description of 1963 Oldsmobile Other

You are bidding on one of the most famous six seater buggies out there. This buggy was on the "Go for it at Glamis" video. Great fun to drive, asy to make it street legal. I would rather have one of these buggies than one of those ridiculously over priced buggies. This is called the party limo out at glamis dunes. This buggy will go anywhere out there. When you drive it out there everybody gives you the thumbs up and say wow what a bitch'n buggy. Even the high dollar guy's come up and want to see it, nd a lot of them say they remember Dirty Bob flying through the dunes with it. A lot of updates have been done to the buggy for that dependable and super fun ride. At night it lights up the whole desert area with all the spot lights and police bar. The only reason I'm selling it is because I totaled by truck and got into street rods now. So it's time for someone else to enjoy the super great rides. This buggy is great with buddies or girl friends or just the whole family to have a great time. I reserve the right to stop this auction due to it being for sell locally. This is your chance to take your whole family out to have a blast that you will be talking about for a long time. Or you could use it for those hunting and fishing trips with all your buddies in the same vehicle, r your surfing buddies going up and down the coast looking for that perfect wave. If you bid please have the funds to cover it. The Aluminum Block V8 was rebuilt around 6 years ago, uns great no issues and not many miles on it. This is the only time I will have it posted for now, f it doesn't sell I will make it street legal and it will be worth a lot more. To make it street legal all it needs is a Plexiglass windshield and turn signals and brake lights then you are good to go down the street. Good luck on bidding. Please ask questions if you have any. Thanks for all the comments on the buggy. Yes I've owned this buggy for over 20 years now and have done a lot of work to it to make it better for me, had a long travel rearend installed in it with Fox shocks. Had the motor rebuilt a few years back along with a new 4 speed trans put in also. The trans alone was $3,500 and that came out of VW Paradise. The trans alone will with hold a thousand horse power motor which this motor doesn't put out that much so it's kinda over kill but worth it. So I went a little over board on that but I didn't want to worry when I'm way out in the desert. Dirty bob was the builder of the buggy out at Glamis, hen George Lukas was filming out in butter cup area on the star wars movie, irty bob used this buggy to transport his camera men out there to do the filming at that time for about a month. which is pretty cool. Dirty bob pass away about 22 years ago so I bought the buggy and just started upgrading it while I was taking all my buddies and family members out and just having a blast with it, never thrashed it but just had a super great time with it. Yes it will do wheel-stands with six people in it and when you do who ever is in the buggy just start to scream and it's so much fun. So thank you for all the great comments.

So I left out one of the comments that you've asked I did have the aluminum rims and paddles but they have been sold, have BFG mud terrain's on the back now, f it doesn't sell my next move is to street legal this car which will make it worth a lot more. Thanks again for looking...

I had a email sent to me about the shape of this buggy and yes when I was with Dirty Bob at Glamis once I asked him on the shape also back then and yes he did design it to look kinda like the Lost in Space vehicle if you remember there's was glass wrap around enclosed. But that's kinda funny that I remembered that as well. He built two of these and one was brown in color and this one was blue, wish I knew where the other one is, f I'm not mistaken I believe it went up to Oregon area. But thanks for looking.
