Description of 1957 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight

The Oldsmobile 88 gained an all-new look in 1957, ne year ahead of corporate siblings from Chevrolet and Pontiac. Rakish, ower rooflines with a larger hood and grille denoted the new bodies, hile the famous "Rocket"V-8 was bored and stroked to a significantly larger 371 cid with 277 hp.

You areviewing a beautiful straight 1957 Oldsmobile 88 two door hardtop, estored in its gorgeous original colors of Allegheny Green with White two tone. The Paint Shines and lays very flat, his is a well preserved older restoratio, t has been driven so it has a few small chips and a scratch or two but still shows very well, he interior is redone in a very clean tasteful softvinyl, eels like leathe, t is black and white and looks and smells great, he chrome work was done the old fashion way years ago before the EPA got involved, ou can't get chrome done like this today without spending a fortune, he Chrome still shows like new, he stainless is equally nice all polished and straight. The cars 371 Engine with Correct four Barrel is show detailed and runs like a swiss wrist watch. The turbo trans shifts well and it has power steering and power brakes for easy cruising. This car finished a four hour trip last year in 90 degreewhether non stop at speed up to 85 miles an hour for sustained long periods of time and all that happen is we lost a Spinner hubcap at 75 miles an hour, t was replaced and matches all the beautiful spinners that are on car now along with Radial Wide White Tires.
This car has integrity in its bod, nterior and mechanics. The underneath is solid but it is a driver so don't expect a new frame off look. The trun, rame, loors all solid. Doors shut like new!
All lights work, llgauges work, verything except radio. all glass is excellent and its USA Glass and not that stuff south of the border.
