Description of 1969 Oldsmobile Other

1969 Oldsmobile Delta Eighty-Eight (88) Convertible.Car has 55,000 original miles on Rocket 455 V-8, bbl carburetor and 3-speed Hydramatic Transmission. Power Steering and Power Brakes. Car runs, rives and shifts excellent. Original radio works but clock does not. Interior is original with no tears or stains. Power from this engine performs like a muscle car! Car was repainted in 1997 in its original blue color and still shows very well.Black power top is also excellent and was new at the time it was painted, till looks brand new. It has obviously been driven very little since then. All 4 tires are like new and in excellent shape with no rot and excellent tread. Engine compartment is VERY clean with no leaks. You could drive this car anywhere. Frame is solid and there is no frame rot or rust on the body.Chrome overall is good and all parts are there with nothing missing. This car shows great and would make a great driver/cruise-in car. In 1969 there were 252,087 Delta 88's built but only 5294 were convertibles making this car somewhat rare given the fact only around 2% had a drop-top. There are 55,000 miles on the entire car including the Rocket 455which is original to the car. As the first listing reads, t makes it appearthat the engine alone has 55,000 miles and the car has more. This is not the case and just a bad description on my part when I originally wrote it. Because there are bids, cannot change it and only add to it. Thanks.

I've had several inquiries on this car and everyone has their own particular area of concern. I have just posted a question from someone asking about bondo in the rear quarters. I have not owned the car for long at all and cannot verify everything that has been done. However, hat I can say is there does not appear to be much if at all by way of bondo. I have gone around the entire car with a magnet and it sticks at the lower parts behind the wheels as strong as it sticks to the middle of the hood. Because eBay only allows 24 pictures, hat all I could post and tired to choose the ones that give perspective buyers the most information. If you are looking for something specific, lease contact me and I will be happy to provide what you are looking for. I have nothing to hide and represent the car as fair and honest as possible. As a car collector myself, have bought and sold many cars on the interned myself and understand the dilemma involved when not seeing it in person.
