Description of 1976 Oldsmobile Cutlass

Up for sale is my 76 Cutlass S Northwester edition Y76 package. It is pretty rare, rom what I understand, t is one of 200 Northwester regional dealer special option cars. What makes it rare is the sloped rear window, andau top, hrome sport mirrors, ally steering wheel, uspension/handling package, pecial grill, nd rally wheels. This car spent it's entire life in Lewiston Idaho. I purchased it from the second owner's daughter. He was an Oldsmobile dealership mechanic, nd bought it at his dealership when it was traded in by the original owner. When he passed away, e left it to his daughter. I believe it to be actual miles, s there were receipts in the glove box of the car when I got it, or various repairs through the life of the car, howing the mileage history over the years. When I got it, t was completely rust free, ut had faded paint, nd typical dings and scratches of a car of that age. Since I purchased it in 2008, have re-painted it in it's original color, irethorn red, ase coat clear coat. I installed new carpet and had the drivers seat repaired. Other than that the interior is all original and in excellent condition. No cracks in dash. New factory door edge guards and header panel emblem(these took years to find!) Engine, 350 trans, nd positrack rear end have all been professionally rebuilt and are #'s matching. New tires, ims, rim rings(have originals and go with sale), rakes, hocks, eavy duty springs front and rear, ual exhaust w/correct crossmember so it fits nice and tight. New fuel pump, tarter, otor mounts, ody mounts, inyl top, indow crank handles. New door, oof rail, nd trunk rubbers. Engine was bored .030 over, ut other than that, retty much stock rebuild. W-30 exhaust manifolds, nd Edelbrock intake and carburetor, ut I have the original intake and quadrajet carb, hich is rebuilt. Also have the original air cleaner. I installed a Hurst shifter handle, ut have the original knob. New air conditioning compressor and it is R-12 and blows ice cold. All controls and lights work perfectly. Floors, runk, rame are all very solid, o rust other than typical light surface rust on the frame. The undercarriage still has the factory primer. I have retained all the original parts that I changed out and go with the sale of the car. I also have a complete spare nose (fenders, ood, eader panel, rills, adiator support, c condenser, tc.) that goes with the sale as well. Just good insurance to have a spare nose. I have all the receipts, am afraid to total them up, ut I am guessing I have well over 16-17k invested, ut reserve is set well below that. Car runs and drives nice and tight, o rattles. Factory am/fm stereo, inted glass, emote trunk latch, actory GM floor mats with the Olds rocket logo, nd the awesome swivel buckets. I have clear, lean Montana title.
