Description of 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass |
1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible with 88100 Original miles with a clear Class A Title.I bought this car in 1992 for my mom and she drove it till about 2001. She stopped driving the car cause her age. HistoryI have had the car 24 years total. It was in a very light in a front endaccident in 1994 where the front bumper was straightened, the grills were replaced with correct onesand the piece between the grills had to be replace. I used of my own money to paint the whole cars the same non-original color. The worked was donebyavery reputable shopand was fixed by my friend Lynn who is an "Olds Expert". ExteriorThe over all body is in good condition with all body trim parts. The paint is faded on the back but the body is straight. There is a small ding in the rear bumper (Thumb size). There is a small area on the front driver fender where the paint is rubbed. Small dent protruding outward on the driver rear quarter panel (very small and not very noticeable until pointed out).Top has tears in on both side and needs to be replaced with new seals. InteriorInterior is faded. A/C car but it does not work. Have original 8 track and all AC vent pieces for the lower dash. All gauges work except fuel gauge.Has Olds Sport Wheel. Power Convertible Top. EngineOriginal Rocket 350 with original Quadrajet power steering and AC. It has hooker headers and dual Flowmaster exhausts which(when installed new in 1995) was with all new exhaust piping from the headers to the exhaust tips. ChassisHas front Disc Brakes with a rebuilt front end. Front end has all urathane bushings from Suspension Technologies. Heavy Duty from MOOG for a 442 and front adjustable Koni shocks (Red Konis) and quick ratio steering box with 1 1/4 turn lock to lock (Real GM Sagnaw box). Tires have good tread but are 15 years old.
