1968 Oldsmobile 442. This car was pulled out of a warehousewhere it sat for many years. The last inspection is 1989. CarDOES run, drive and stop. Engine hits on all 8 cylinders does not smoke and has surprisingly good power. Engine is the correct 400 cid engine as far as I know. I do not know if it is original to the car however. The TH400 trans shifts nice and smooth. The car does have the BPO 12 bolt rear axle, I am not sure of the ratio. We put a new master cylinder and rear brake shoes on the car so it stops. This car is a FULL RESTORATION CANDIDATE. You will need to trailer it home, it is not highway worthy. However, it is a complete and real olds 442 and everything is there. It is going to need body panels and some floor work. The worst part is the trunk andoutside dash on lower edge of the windshield, the current windshield is only duct taped in right now(see pictures). However, the car comes with TWO complete inner and outer dash/cowl pieces removed from other cars and the inner trunk lip and taillight housing needed for the trunk lip repair (see pictures).We encourage you to come see and hear the car run at 21 FOSTER AVE in Freeland PA, 18224.
