Description of 1970 Oldsmobile 442

This is for a 1970 Oldsmobile 442. There is no title for this vehicle. I purchased this off a gentleman from the Chicago area in March of 2014. He has the paperwork to file for an Illinois title but still has yet to do it & I'm out of patience. I have his name. phone number. plus copies of paperwork from the state of Georgia dated 2007 where the last paperwork was filed which I will provide to you. Now for the car. It's in very good shape. still has it's numbers matching 455 engine which is non-running. Non-numbers matching automatic transmission. Car was originally gold. I'm basing this on the gold paint overspray inside the car which would match the blank paint code on the tag as well as black interior. Somewhere along the line the lower right rear quarter panel was replaced with a panel that does not have a cutout for the side marker light. Frame/doors/hood/trunk/floorpans are very good & solid. Interior wise. the front seats will need recovered. the dash pad is fine as is the back seat. The car rolls without a problem. I do not have a build sheet. I was planning on doing a full restoration of this 442 but I'm out of patience on trying to get the title from the guy in Chicago plus I'm currently finishing up a restoration on another car with another waiting in the wings. If you can get the title this will be an easy restoration & if you can't get the title this is a perfect donor car or one to do a full restomod too. I have it listed as an auction but will listen to offers. Sorry. no trades. cash only. Since it is winter here in western Pennsylvania. I can keep the car stored here until spring breaks at no cost. I can also assist with a shipping service if need be. I posted all the pics I have of the car. if you require more let me know. Non-refundable down payment of $300 is required within 24 hours of auction close. Full payment required within 5 days of auction close. Any questions please feel free to email me.
