Description of 1986 Oldsmobile 442 supreme

up for auction is my 1986 olds cutlass 442,.ive owned this car for3 years and ive come to realize I don't have the time to give this car the restoration it needs,.this car runs and drives now and is currently tagged antique,.it has the original 307 and 2004r trans and posi rear,.the car runs and drives fine,.i had it out in October and took it on a 3 hour drive to new jersey without any problems
ok on to the body,.its gonna need some rust attention on the lower 1/4's and doors it is showing some rust bubbling overall on both sides,.paint is in ok shape and shines up nice with a wash and good wax,.has a hurst wing mounted on the trunk,.the twin scoops on the hood are the lund style stick on type,.i didn't install them or ever try to remove them,.the wheels and tires are in good shape the bf Goodrich's have decent tread on them
T-tops-remove and lock back in nice and tight but the seals definitely need to be replaced,.the previous owner tried to put silicone and home depot weather stripping all over them to seal them,.but the seals weren't leaking it was a bad windshield seal that was causing a water problem(I pulled the windshield and re-sealed it when I bought it)it took a few days and a garden hose to locate the problem,.the metal behind the windshield was not rotted at all,.all in all I would say buy a full weather strip kit and install it
interior-its in good original shape as you can see in the pics,.driver seat has some wear from getting in and out,.missing a few covers here and there,.needs a new head liner,.center console is there and the lid is still hinged and works,.stock shifter was a mess when I bought it so I swapped in the TCI shifter that's in it now,.has a new carpet that I put in 1 year ago,.gauges are the typical gbody gauges that kinda work sometimes when they want to,.i was gonna install autometers so I never bothered with these
worst thing this car is gonna need is a driver side floor pan,.its gone from the windshield leaking but I put a patch panel and the carpet in it as a temporary fix so I could drive it for now,.also the previous owner removed the a/c system(I have no clue why?),.the a/c never bothered me cause its a t-top car,when I drove it the tops were out and the weather was nice
ok along with this auction you will receive all the extras I have for it,...I have an older rebuild olds rocket 350(395558)block with trw flat top pistons and a set of large chamber stock heads that were redone with the motor,.motor has an ultradyne cam installed,.motor and heads will need to be put back together,.also have a 78 olds 350 shortblock that needs rebuilt that can go too,..brand new aluminum radiator,..brand new flowtech headers,collectors,gaskets and arp bolts,..new gforce double hump cross member,..all this is included
