Matching number car. Just a great, honest, excellent quality driver. The car spent most of its life in Arkansas. All body panels are fine and laser straight. The body work was done prior to my having bought the car and it looks like it was done correctly. The key is was it done right, in this case it was, and how was the car kept since it was done. The hinges work fine and without issue. The paint is 12+ years old and from what I heard by prior owner it was a base coat clear coat done in Spanish red (which was period correct but changed from its original pewter color). The paint really is beautiful. Chrome and trim are in nice drivers condition no rust. Windows cranks and operation fine. Trunk no rust and has spare tire and jack. All lights inside and outside work fine. The VIN is stamped on the drivers side door jam. Inner fenders/radiator support are fine and rust free. Under doors are solid. Window fuzzies are in good shape as are gaskets. It is matching numbers with the engine and trans - rebuilt in 2005. Carburetor rebuilt at Carb. USA in 2016. The engine bay is veryclean The trans is the turbo hydramatic 400 GM. The rear is a non posi traction what I believe is 3:08 differential. Cooling and temps are fine Wiring harness is good. Frame is solid as are the body mounts. Good shocks and springs. Front end is tight. Brake and fuel lines are good. Gas tank is solid. Exhaust has no holes or rot. Tire tread life is like brand new with only about 1,800 miles on them. Rebuilt carburetor 2016. It has drum power brakes all the way around. Upholstery is perfect. Carpet perfect. New rubber, correct Olds mats F&R. Door handles great. Lights interior all work. It doesn't have gauges just idiot lights. Fan, heater defroster and wipers all work well as does the power convertible top.The title is free and clear. Reason I'm selling is only room for 1 car and I just purchased another...so price is quite reasonable. Also included is a custom car cover. Hagerty Good price is $33200, NADA Low Retail $33400Can someone tell me what it means to "watch" an item and why they do it?
