Horsepower was increased from 135 to 160 on the 303 cubic inch V8. mostly due to the addition of a 4 barrel carburetor. The "98" series was the top-of-the-line model. This is a high option example and it's in outstanding condition inside and out. It was part of a large private collection of over 100 cars which was dispersed last year by the prior owners estate. The Oldsmobile was restored by the prior owner during his 25 plus year ownership. Restoration is believed to have been completed in the mid 1990's. It features excellent paint on a straight. clean. rust free body. New chrome. excellent trim and glass. The interior is beautifully restored in correct upholstery and all the interior hardware is excellent as well. Both the engine bay and trunk compartments are detailed too. New wide whitewalls have just been installed and this Oldsmobile runs and drives like a dream! The overhead valve V8 runs whisper quiet and when teamed to the automatic transmission and power steering it provides superior drivability not often found in cars of this era. The odometer indicates 48. 00 miles - the title states exempt.
