I am selling my 1967 Oldsmobile 442. This is a real 442 with 5VY on the cowl tag. The car was restored in 1997 and was a very clean driver. In 2015 my mother passed away and I wanted to keep my father busy. He is a retired body man and worked at an Oldsmobile dealership for 35 years so we decided to do a better restoration than what was done. The car was stripped to bare metal and the fenders, doors, hood and deck-lid was taken off of the car. It was then repainted to the factory K Aquamarine color for the car as well as replacing the vinyl top. All chrome was either polished or re dipped. The entire suspension was replaced by John R spring here in Michigan. We replaced all door panels and carpeting as well. We completed a front disk brake conversion on the car to help the braking power of this 1967. Under the hood is the factory E block 400 with C heads. I contacted Mondello Performance and had the complete motor rebuilt with a few power adders that they have in a package including custom headers, new intake, demon carb, W30 Cam, and reworked heads. I wanted a stock look, but for it to have more power. I also added a stronger radiator from B Cool. All original parts come with the car. I have 2 sets of rims and tires that will come with the car also, A set of 17 Inch Torque Thrust wheels on new tires and the factory SS1 wheels on BFG Comp T/A's. This car was also used by NBC for the Sunday night football playoff game between the Detroit Lions and Seattle Seahawks. I have the stills and video from that event, they wanted a Muscle car from Detroit and I was lucky enough to drive it around the city. This is a very nice driver car and not a trailer queen. The only reason we are selling the car is to fund another to keep my dad busy. I am sure I am missing a few other things so if you have any questions just let me know.
