Description of 1955 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight |
1955 Oldsmobile Super 88 Stretch Limo Since Oldsmobile will no longer be producing automobiles, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a classic 55 Automobile with just a little more. About four feet more to be exact. This wonderful example of Americana sits on a 228" Wheel base, has four almost brand new Poly Wide Whitewall tires, the Original Rocket V8 Power Horse, Six doors, (center doors open from inside only), wire wheel covers, and a luxurious burgundy, cream leather interior. The exterior is a Custom two tone, Metallic Raspberry, and Lexus Pearl White. The front and rear bumpers will probably have to be re chromed, (some rust) and there are a couple of scratches on the rear quarter panels, that I know can be rubbed out. There is a small imperfection where the Hood meets the body in the front on the right side. I just replaced all of the Plastic Light Lens. (Reproductions). I did keep the originals, they are in the trunk. The odometer has 22501 Miles on it. It was at 19500 when I had it rebuilt. So that means I have driven the car about two thousand miles in twelve years. 1994 It won 3rd place in the "Concoures' De Elegance, Forest Grove, Oregon, Commercial Division. I had this care built in the early 90's, with the intent on using it to shuttle my Bed and Breakfast Guests to and from the airport, it was never put into service. It has only been subjected to personal use. It has never been driven in the rain and has always been in protected storage. PS: Have an emotional attachment, but I can use the room in my Garage, and my bank account wouldn't scream it I fed it. Make me an offer I can't refuse. |
