Based on the popular Cutlass Calais coupe, the new Hurst/Olds utilized the durable L34 5.7L V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission that was shifted by a custom Hurst Dual Gate shifter. Just 2,499 examples were produced in 1979 and the Hurst was the only GM B body to be offered with the 5.7L V8 engine. Key features were black or white paint, gold accents, gold painted aluminum wheels and a unique grill. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present... this extraordinarily nice 1979 Hurst/Olds for your consideration. Finished in the distinctive black with gold accents, this car is in excellent condition throughout. The paint is very nice, and the gold accents are clean. Chrome trim is excellent and the factory aluminum wheels are fitted with BF Goodrich tires. The car also features dual exhaust pipes. The interior is spotless and is exactly as it was when it left the factory. Gold and wood look trim is nice, cloth bucket seats are free of wear, the dashboard is intact, and the car has the distinctive Hurst Dual Gate shifter. Well equipped, the car comes with power windows, power locks, power disc brakes, air conditioning, stereo, and power steering.
