Description of 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass

Selling my personal 71 Cutlass Convertible.Price just lowered. I have a short sound video if you text me.. This car I have kept for some years now, I have owned 6 other Cutlass Convertible's during my ownership of this car. I work 60 hours a week and do not enjoy it as much as I should, so it will be listed 1 time for sale and if it does not sell, that will be fine as I will keep it covered in my garage. The car has a rebuilt 350 engine, cam, some head work and sounds amazing and runs better them any stock 455 Oldsmobile. The transmission was rebuilt at the same time frame, has a light shift kit and a small 2400 converter in it. The car runs fantastic and has been driven on 200 - 300 mile road trips with never any issues.
The body is super solid and the paint was done over 10 years ago and looks like it was done recently, great shine to it. The bumpers are nice, the back bumper I would rate a 9 out of 10 and front is original and would rate a 7. The rimes are 15 inch oldsmobile ss1 rims and look great, I do have the original 14 inch rallys with great bf goodrich tires the are painted red to match the car. The seats are new, just had those done last year front had new springs in the seats done. Again, this is a great driving cutlass that gets a ton of looks.
The car has factory rally gauges, they all work as you can see in the pictures, tach works 70% of the time.. Never looked into it, might be a loose wire or connection. What makes the car pretty rare to me is the original paint color for the car is coded 42, palm green iridescent color.. Very rare color for a Cutlass. Again, the red looks amazing.
Only things I notice that do not work correctly, the am radio powers up but no noise, did not really worry about this. The power top cylinder went a few years ago, so I manually put the top up, but it is always down in my garage and covered. There is a 4 inch or so tear on the passenger side of the top, they all tear there. I believe the top is original so I left it alone, as the top is always down. 2 small bubbles I point out, 1 on the trunk the other on passenger lower side. Both very minor.. Not a 100 point show car but will win a trophy if you looking to show the car. Awesome car, sounds like a big block, great cam and sound.. Someone will get a trouble free Convertible. Small payoff through my credit union, hassle free.. Title will be sent after payment is cleared. Questions or more pictures call or text me cell 267 446 0572
