Up for auction is a 1978 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon Brougham with only 53,000 original miles on it. This car was elderly owned and spent at least 10 years stored. to get it running i had to dump out old gas, change all rubber lines, new fuel pump,oil changed, new plugs, wires and fuel filter and all 4 tires. it starts right up and idles smoothly, it is a 231 v-6 engine . Transmission shifts gears perfectly. The car will need a windshield this one is cracke, muffler has a hol, its still pretty quiet running but it needs to be replaced, there is rust under both door, a few spots of surface rust in door jamb, frame is super solid and rust free i have had a few of this body style and i know where they rust and this frame is excellent. Exterior is mostly original, paint is just o, car has a few bad dings and scrapes. Front bumper is very nice, rear bumper has chrome peeling off. Interior is very nic, seats look and feel excellent, das, door panels and headliner also damage fre, interior plastic has very little fading. carpet is a bit worn .
