Description of 1967 Oldsmobile Toronado Deluxe
Iconic car from the 60's, Americas first front wheel drive since the Cord. Unique styling and a bullet proof drive train tested for over a million miles by GM.Rare color as black was not in vogue in the 60's and stored for many years.
Went through typical barn find restoration.
Tank pulled drained and cleaned, new fuel lines, rebuild carb, replace fuel pump and filters.Flush cooling system, all new hoses, replace all belts, vac lines, wipers and rubber products.New white wall tires, sway bushings, brake drums, wheel cylinders and shoes, brake hoses, all brake lines and flush system.Buff body, clean interior, scrub top.New exhaust and full tune up.Runs and drives surprisinglywell, now ready for the small detail stuff like clock not working.
Optional Tilt-Telescope wheel, wonder bar AM-FM radio (working) with power antenna, and rear defogger
Original rims and jack, even owners manual,but no spare tire.
A show stopper where ever you drive. Has the most interesting speedometer.
Will discuss a trailer delivery for a fee within 200 miles of La Porte Indiana, or heading to Atlanta for Christmas and would tandem drive and drop off in route for a fee. I am not afraid to drive this any distance with the work that has been done. It is not a garage queen and needs to be driven.

Drove the car about 15 miles today and finished a few final projects, carpet now shampooed, changed oil AGAIN just to be safe, Lubed and tested all power window operation, and pressure washed the engine. Check out the last photo, even the drivers seat is in remarkable condition. All quite nice and car is ready to go.

Below is option list and I have marked what I see is included in this one.
Looks like 1,100 in options on this vehicle in 2019 dollars that is $8,500 so I would say well equipped. Additional information from questions received. I have inspected the frame and undercarriage on a lift and can say this is a solid car. There are no perforationsof the outer body, but there is a golf ball size one on one inner fender. EZ fix but I left un repaired. The trunk is solid but has one small perforationso work needed there. I would rust treat all inner fenders and the trunk area to preserve but all this is minor. Clock does not work, radio is intermittent, rear defog blower needs cleaned out, just the minor stuff left.
This is a great base car and just needs to be driven, enjoyed and improved.
