1968 OLDSMOBILE VISTA CRUISER "ONE OF A KIND"

Ok Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser lovers ! Did I peak your interest with that photo of my factory looking dual exhaust rear bumper with factory Trumpets ! Here is your chance to purchase a "One of a Kind" 1968 Vista Cruiser Wagon ! This started as a purchase from the original owner 84 with 67,000 miles. I have been working on this Vista for the last 14 months making it one that Iplaned to KEEPforever ! I have spared NO EXPENSE in my quest to build it.

I have owned many Oldsmobile's and many were 4 speed cars and 4 speed cars are moreFUN to drive for sure ! So after finding thisnice vista I started collecting the necessary factory parts to indeed make this Vista a "One of a Kind" 4 speed wagon using all factory GM parts !

So what we have here is a 1968 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser with a Brand New Pro Built M-22 Rock Crusher auto gear 4 speedtrans/ NEW bucket seats and factory 4 speed console ! The complete drive train is NEW (except the engine) but I updated engine parts) from front to Rear ! Seephotos attached ! Also the complete interior is NEW in the factory light blue color and is in a factory 1968 442 pattern in all vinyl. The head liner is in mint condition except a small dime sized hole at the rear just above the rear window.! This vista drives so smooth, shifts smooth, and performs much like a 442 ! It is a magnet for looks and comments and hundreds of "Thumbs Up" anywhere I park or when on the roadI have spent a lot more then my reserve and I indeed have what I set out to build.

I'm sure you are asking "WHY" after all that money invested and 14 months of labor, Why am I selling what I planned to KEEP ? I have a injury to my left foot and knee so pushing the clutch is impossible ! Also please notethe factory clutch is buttery smooth and not stiff at all., So this is the only reason for the posting for sale ! At the time of this posting I am still working on the vista finishing installing the rear seats, Seat belts. and the under bumper Ram Air System. I will install it and then remove the scoops so they are not damaged in shipping. There is still minor body work to do and a paint job needed to make it perfect and the rear custom bumper needs to be sent to the chrome shop for the bright work, Or you can drive it as is ! The people just LOVE it whereverI go or park I get people saying "That's so cool" ! or " I remember riding it the very back seat" ! and in all age groups Young & Old ! Everybody LOVES It !!!

The body is very solid but it has it's share of parking lot door dings worn paint in places and a small area on the lower tailgate and spare tire well. All "vista" glass is in perfect cond. and has no rust. All doors close like new.
