Description of 1956 Oldsmobile Super 88

Being offered today, for your consideration, could actually be "Your father's Oldsmobile" This 1956 Oldsmobile Super 88(aka Elizibeth) has led an interesting life. Originally purchased as a gift, for the previous owner's Great Aunt "Elizabeth". It led a somewhat pampered life in Iowa, then travelling to Washington DC, then down to Orlando Florida. Unfortunately, somewhere along the way, she overheated, blew a head gasket and ruined the engine. After sitting in dry storage, for over 10 years, I took possession of her. Michael hated to let her out of the family but had no means to fix her.Since taking ownership, she has gone through a major transformation. Have personally invested thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours of labor into breathing new life back into Elizabeth. But it's time for the next chapter and owner to finish her to whatever level they desire. Runs and drives great as is. Perfect for taking entire family for ice-cream or dinner in style. So, drive as-is or finalize. You decide. Here is a list of repairs and upgrades.-rebuilt 1973 Olds Cutlass 350/350 combo custom installed by professional ASE Master technician(myself), Mallory ignition, Edelbrock 4BBL 650 carb, RV camshaft (advanced 4 degrees for more low-end power) Runs very strong and will cruise smoothly ALL day long at 80mph, never going over 180 degrees.F-alternator and starter new/rebuilt-new driveshaft, gas tank, aluminum radiator, HD cooling system w/electric fan.-full gauge set including gas gauge-brake system rebuilt including "Treadle-Vac power brake system.-15" white wall radial tires(new)-carpet with sound deadener on top of rust-free floor panList of items that need finished, in no particular order-speedometer and OE gas gauge (aftermarket gauge under dash)-clock and radio-windshield wipers vacuum motor-heater (vents work fine, no A/C)-rocker panels (outer) have some rust.
