1970 Excalibur SS Series II garage find

Dream Car Autohaus is offering for sale a real garage find! You are looking at a 1970 Excalibur SS Phaeton Roadster that has been sitting for over 15 years!

This is a very unique car that was originally delivered to the first owner in January 1971 in Danville Virginia and then to the second owner, here we received the car from, n March 14, 973 in East Orange NJ. This is a true two owner car with the 1973 title and original owners papers to prove it.

The Excalibur's were built with mostly GM components that were used to build the corvette. You may recognize the 1970's Corvette seats. Built by SS This Excalibur started life as a sun-fire yellow model throughout with black interior. The second owner decided the two tone burgundy and black look better and stripped the car and repainted it.

This unique roadster has been in storage for some time. I have inspected the car and gone through all the electrics as well as the engine. I replaced the battery and have cranked the engine which turns over but wont start as the car is in need of a fuel pump.

The Excalibur SS is powered by a Corvette 350 cu-in V8 and automatic transmission. It has power steering and brakes, ilt wheel, m/fm 8 track and AC. The car has all the original components including the top, he original tounea cover, ront and rear windows and the simulated boot cover for when the top is off.

The rear luggage rack folds up when not in use and can hold a large trunk or several small suitcases. The car sits on white side wall Firestone tires and Borrani true wire wheels. I have the hub wrench and lug nut wrench for the wheels.

I have the original owners manual which, y Excalibur accord, s a copy straight from the Corvette owners manual. I also have the original owners welcome letter with the chassis number and color codes and the original warranty letter. This Phaeton needs very little to be a great driving car.
