Description of 1986 Other Makes TVR 280i

Excellent, ow mileage example of limited production British Sports Car. Steel tube frame, iberglass body, ord 2.8 Litre Fuel Injected V6, Spd. transmission, aguar (Salisbury) Differential, Wheel Fully Independent Suspension. Fewer than 150 280i models were produced for the 1986 model year and fewer still with LHD. With the exception of new tires, xhaust system, ashboard veneer, nd radio the vehicle is in original, nmolested condition. Fresh spark plugs, ires, il, nd filters (oil & air) installed. Starts, uns and drives with no issues. Paint is 30 year old base/clear coat overall in nice, lossy condition (I have current paint codes), ut due to age does show a few "blems". Interior is excellent with only one small flaw on rear corner of drivers seat. Body is in excellent overall condition with one small "incident" on driver's side front bumper. Top and targa insert in excellent condition. Rubber mouldings on top and targa insert are new. Overall a very presentable example of a unique and rare British Sport Car.
Sale includes shop manual, edge "Bible", iterature, nd spares with a new value in excess of $1000. Spares include new fuel pump, ew fuel filter, ew rear swing arm pins and bushings, tainless steel exhaust headers, OS engine run sensor (ERS), arious gaskets and miscellaneous items. Car cover included.
A/C compressor and combination bracket (alt) have been removed and replaced with an aluminum alternator only bracket with an estimated weight savings of 60lbs. A/C system was seldom if ever used. Remainder of the A/C system is completely intact. Compressor, riginal bracket, nd belts are included in sale should you wish to re-install.
I am rather reluctant to sell the vehicle, ut having put only 1000 miles on in the last two years, ther projects and grandkids in college take priority.

Will also consider certified funds, ut will not release vehicle or title until funds have cleared all appropriate financial institutions.
