1954 Hornet. Montana car and title. No rust. Original engine runs but smokes. Twin H power. Clifford equal length headers. Automatic transmission from a Dodge Dakota with the bell housing modified to fit the 308 block with the stock starting motor. Overdrive with lock up. 4.56:1 rear end ratio so unlike stock hydramatic, t really pulls hard from a standing start. Nice original interior except for drivers seat bolster under left leg. Good head liner except for small hole above drivers side visor. Car has been converted to 12 volts and the power brake master cylinder has been rebuilt. New brakes. It will drive onto transporter. Call 605-431-3499 with questions. Come up from the HET national meet in Colorado Springs and haul it home. On Aug-09-15 at 14:55:42 PDT, eller added the following information: 1954 Hornet. When that engine was in the car (cracked block) all it did was lay down rubber when the headers were open. In addition I have a good block with std. bore and freshly re-ground crankshaft. All parts that I have go with the car and are part of this sale.
