1947 Diamond T Cabover COE truck
Original Chassis fitted with a Big Block Cadillac Motor & Transmission mounted behind the cab. 472 Cubic inches & a Turbo 400 transmission. Runs very strong !!
Cab was removed from chassis and all body work was done, hassis was sandblasted and the brakes are all new. Including new master & wheel cylinders and also a new brake booster. The truck stops on a dime.
Motor & trans have about 50,000 miles on them. they were pulled from a 1973 Cadillac Sedan Deville. This solid combination is strong and doesn't smoke......lots of torque and an honest 365 hp.
I left the original floor board sections in the truck, hey were sand blasted and painted but still have some holes in them..........My thought was the next owner might want a flat floor in the cab because the motor is mounted behind the cab.
Truck was fitted with all new glass all around.
You can finish the truck anyway you want. It's ready for almost any kind of bed you can fit on it. Electrical wiring still needs to be finished to the headlights and the rear tail lights are a temporary setup waiting for your bed choice.
The tires are brand new with maybe 20 miles on them.
Please note I do not have a title for the truck but, can give you a bill of sale. The truck spent it's life on a ranch in Montana and was never registered.
