Description of 1975 Other Makes Jensen Healey JH5 |
1975 Jensen Healey JH5 Lovely restoration performed over the past 10 years. One of the nicest Jensen Healey JH5's around! Owned and showed by Jensen Healey Preservation Society membership director and host of Jensen Nationals 2015. This car has always been a show winner both locally and nationally. I am selling as my focus has turned to another Jensen Healey restoration and this car is finished and thus ready for a new caretaker to enjoy. The car was featured in the August 2011 issue of Thoroughbred & Classic Cars and has appeared on the cover of the Jensen Healey Preservation Society Magazine. Everything in the car works as it should. This includes everything from the engine and brakes to the small map light on the dashboard. Completed work includes the following: 1. Lotus 907 Engine rebuilt by Judson Manning to original 2.0 liter specification. 2. Rebuilt Dellorto 40's provide smooth progressive power. 3. Electronic ignition 4.Hi-output, 0 Amp alternator 5. Rebuilt brake booster and master cylinder 6. 3 row radiator and fan shroud. Engine always runs cool 7. Pete's Kits Getrag 5 speed shift linkage upgrade 8. Professional repaint including engine compartment — Sunfire Red (Touch-up paint included) 9. Rebuilt front suspension including powder coating of A-arms 10. Front and rear anti-sway bars 11. Adjustable Spax shocks all around 12. Refinished wheels with modern clear coat. They will not pit and are a breeze to clean! 13. Newer Sumitomo tires with plenty of tread life left on them. 14. New Vinyl interior including door cards and rear panel 15. New wool carpeting 16. Carpathian elm dash 17.Modern 4 speaker stereo including i-pod interface and NAV (But the NAV has not been hooked up as it require a wheel speed sensor which I have never pursued) 18. Quarts converted clock which keeps excellent time 19. Excellent top and top-boot You will be hard pressed to find anything significant wrong with the car, ut none the less, t is being sold "as is, here is" . It is sold without warrantee and all sales are final. I would have no concern about anyone driving it home. I will not deliver the car, ut will cooperate if purchaser wishes to have the car delivered at his or her own expense and entire risk. I encourage inspection. Payment by wire transfer or cash due within 3 days of auction close. Call Ross at 201-390-6491 with questions. Good luck and happy bidding.... |
