| Restored about 12 years ago but only a few thousand miles since restoration. Extremely road worthy. We just did a 400 mile trip in it without incident and had a great time. Capable of highway speeds and gets great MPG. Great shape throughout. Just thouroughly serviced after storage. New correct tires, ew carb and brake rebuild. For those unfamiliar, he Morris shares mechanical components with the Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite or MG midget so parts are easily obtained. A great little British convertible that seats 4 people. The paint, nterior and engine bay cosmetics are nice even though done several years ago. The Morris Minor was the forerunner to the Mini and designed by the great Alec Issigonis who wanted to make a modern family car with the maximum space possible for the interior so 4 adults can sit in comfort. They became beloved in the UK and most of the colonies as they were great to drive, ependable and had cheeky good looks. Because of this, hey were in production from 1948-1971. The Convertible was one of the rarest and most popular models. It is rare to find a restored dry rust free example like this. For sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Must be Sold! Terms: Buyer to pay shipping, lthough I have a good contact for a reasonable rate ($650 to Los Angeles for example) Of course sold as is where is with no guarantees or warranty. Must be paid for within 5 business days. Thanks and good luck |
