Thanks for checking out my 1970 Mustang Grande, hese were very special cars during their day with lots of nice options. This car, nly has 55,554 original miles on it, t is 45 years old, nd very obvious especially when you look at the original, don't have documentation, ut looking at the car, nd the information from the folks I got it from, believe it to be true. These days you don’t see a lot of nice 1969-70 Coupes, specially the Grande option. This Mustang was bought here in the Northwest, n Eugene, regon. The original owner had it up until around 2005. A young gentleman bought it, nd had it for about a year. At that time he decided to out a 4v aluminum Weiland intake on it, nd Holley Carb 4v on it. After his ownership, nd enjoying it, e got transferred to a new job, cross the country, nd sold it to his grandfather. His grandfather owned it for the last 8 years, nly putting around 300 miles, nd decided to sell it since it wasn’t getting used that often. What is really nice about this car is, hat it came optioned with a 351C engine, hese are great engines, nd very sought after. Most cars like this usually got the 302, r 351W. The original owner also had at the dealership ad aftermarket Air Conditioning, hich is a great upgrade. It needs to be recharged, ut everything is there, t does turn on and off, nd pump is free. This little Mustang is in great condition, t has been repainted in the past, he paint has aged some as you will see in the photos, ut looks good enough to still enjoy and show. Some panels are a little shiner then others. It has plenty of chips and small scratches, ut over all a great looking little time capsule. Mechanically it is in very good shape. Engine has never been rebuilt, s you can see from the engine compartment, t is very original, ust general maintenance items through the years. It was a factory 2V car, code, ut like I mentioned earlier it was upgraded to a 4V, nd I think that is great, ots more power, nd a lot more fun, ver 351C deserves a 4V. I do have the original intake as well for the car. The air cleaner and valve cover have been repainted, ith a 4V sticker on it, ince it has a 4V on it now. But I will included the original intake, v carb, nd 2V decal if you ever decide to put it back on. The Engine starts right up, nd sounds great with the dual exhaust, as the perfect exhaust note with Dual exhaust. It starts right up, oes not blow any smoke, ery clean running little engine. The transmission is an AT, nd it shifts very nice, o hesitation. The rearend, eels good no slop in it or howl. The exhaust is in good shape no holes, ounds great. It does have power steering, nd it works very good. When you look underneath there, s minor seepage, n engine and transmission but nothing that really hits the ground, retty normal for a 45 year old car. The tires are in nice shape, ice tread, round 90%. Notice the original wheels and hubcaps, ith the original paint on wheels and spare.

Interior is in great shape, ery original looking. There are 2 areas in the front seats that need to be repaired, hich would be fairly easy to do, robably run about $200 to fix them both at a local upholstery shop. There is one small hole in the rear seat bottom. Overall the interior for its age is really amazing, he hounds tooth inserts look great, ove the color. Door panels are very nice, little wear on them, ash pad no cracks in it. All the gauges are working, esides the gas gauge. The AC is all there, ut needs recharged, t does turn on and off. With very little work inside, t would be awesome. I would imagine, hat if you took it to a show, hat it would be close to winning any original interior awards. If you look at the brake and gas pedal very little wear, hich also shows a sign of 55K original miles. Very nice looking inside and very comfortable to ride in. Non Smoker, ery pleasant. Dome light works, nterior lights, ll the exterior lights on the car. The carpet is very nice for its age, n the center hump, here are 2 small round melted spots, ot from a cigarette, hey are 2 perfect, ot sure what happen, ut it is not cigarette burn. It really is an amazing interior, ne of the best interiors I have seen, ith those 2 spots fixed on each seat, t would be even more amazing.

It has been repainted. The car is pretty solid, ut it does have a few small needs. The paint is around 30 years old it is a little dull, ut it does show well, or vintage paint. It has small chips that have been touched up. There is some rust bubbles that have obviously formed and need to have repairs in the bottom corners of the doors. You have to remember this is car that has survived through the years, nd the folks that have owned it kept care of it. It will need a new vinyl top at some point, here are some little rust bubbles starting underneath it, ear the center trim, nd on the paint along the edge. If you are going to keep the car in a garage the rest of its life, aybe you could leave it that way, f if you want to have it replaced and make small repairs that is your choice. The car structurally is very sound, t is a unibody car, he frame rails, nd inner rockers are in really nice condition, ake a look at the photos really amazing. Please take a look at the photos, he paint is old, here are chips and small scratches on it. I don’t see any signs of any filler on the car, nside the door jams, nside the trunk area, re all original and amazing. Overall, he car is sound, nd a very good driver/show. You will probably just leave it the way it is, nd just drive it and enjoy it. I would take it to any car show or cruise in any day of the week, t does show well, nd yes it is one rare piece of Ford machinery.
