Description of 1974 Other Makes Bricklin sv1

I had some interest in this last time around. This is the last time i am listing this car. This is a great Bricklin that just had quite a bit of work done to her from the Brickyard. That is huge as i just spent nearly 3K making this car right. Just need some room in the garage. If you are looking for a great Bricklin. This is the car. I just cut the price. This car is a bargain!!!!
I was the President of the Bricklin club for 11 years and have owned 9 Bricklins over the years. I know these cars very well. I am going to list 2 Bricklins and sell one. I like them both so i will let the market dictate which one gets a new home. This a very nice 1974 Orange car. I prefer 74 Bricklins as they have more power and are much rarer than the Ford models. Plus the 74 Orange is a deeper Orange than the 75.
Only 2 owners since new this Bricklin has only 18,751 miles and is Stone Stock down to it's clock radio. It will have to be fixed as the clock does not flip. Interior very nice. Original counsel has two small cracks. The drivers side door panel has a small tear. Other than that the interior is perfect. The carpet was replaced in the 80's and still looks new. The steering wheel was also replaced with a NOS one.I brought this car to the Brickyard where Bob performed about $2800 in work. New air compressor and reworked air door system. Doors were aligned. The car runs and drives like new. 2 tires are brand new and the other ones very nice. Radial T/A's all around. All fluid changes done. Engine purrs like a kitten, ll Paperwork on this car is included back to 1983! This car spent most of its life in a dark garage on jack stands. So the person who buys this car can feel confident that it was gone through by a professional Bricklin shop.
I have all the work done on this car dating back to 1983. I have trophies from the Bricklin club where this car has won Gold and Silver over the years. Car comes with a spare and many years of past Bricklines.
Car has some small cracks but honestly it is one of the better bodies that i have seen. All acrylic Bricklins do crack. Some more than others. This one has a darn good body! Brakes and shocks are new. AC needs a charge. Seats AWESOME! Car is just plane nice. Good museum car or a nice ride to a classic car show!!!!!!
This is what i know of the history of the car. I can't locate a selling dealer for this car. But the original owner noted that this car was purchased in Michigan after the Bricklin Bankruptcy. This leads me to believe that it was owned by General Vehicle until the bankruptcy. Most likely at the Romulus or Livonia locations. Bricklin had 30 cars here in Michigan when the plug was pulled. This may be one of those cars. Needless to say, ooking at the paperwork on this car this car was meticulously maintained! Very rare to get all this great documentation. Call me at 734-320-0599 and we can discuss car.
LOW RESERVE FOR THIS CAR; REMEMBER I HAVE 3K in upgrades just done to car
