Description of 1971 Other Makes Whitby Morrison |
Up for sale is my very rare Vintage 1971 Whitby Morrison Ice Cream Truck. I had bought the truck with intentions of restoring to it's original beauty, ut due to lack of space for storage and limited funds I have decided to find him a new home. This is an extremely unique vehicle, e get people stopping by our house complimenting us weekly. It would make an eye catching, ne of a kind food/dessert/ice cream truck. The original generation system and ice cream machine have been removed in order to create space for updated equipment. The body of the truck is completely fiberglass. Currently headlights, aillights, ide mirrors, rill and other trim pieces have been removed because the truck was partially prepped for fiberglass work and paint. Work Completed: New Radiator Installed New Gas tank fabricated and installed New Master Cylinder and Slave Clutch New Rear Wheel Cylinders Rebuilt Front Wheel Cylinders New Custom Brake Lines New Rear Wooden Floor Rims Refinished & Painted Red 4 Brand New Tires Tune Up New Battery and Battery Cables New Rear Side Window Majority of Vehicle Sanded New Front Windshield Seals New Oil Filter Fuel Lines Flushed Replacement Taillight Lens Needs to be completed: Currently does not start - needs possible alternator or starter? (when my mechanic dropped it back off to me it did start) Fiberglass patched in a couple locations Roof has cracked and sagged from weight of winter snow and needs to be repaired Reinstall trim pieces and lights Install side rear window (I have the new window) Trunk lid needs to be reattached Acrylic signage needs to be reinstalled with new weather stripping Shocks and exhaust are functioning but could use updating Freezers in the truck do not currently work due to removing original power generation system Possible electrical work (never tried to use headlights or interior lights) |
