Up for eBay Auction is a rare survivor from a long-gone era - a 1931 Mack/Hale 1000 GPM Open Cab fire engine. This fire engine was built in the Trenton, ew Jersey, ire Department shop on a Mack chassis with Hale body components and a Hale pump. This truck served in Trenton, ew Jersey, or many years before its retirement. The truck has been featured in fire engine publications. I am offering this truck at $1.00 Opening Bid/No Reserve! ***Please Read the description carefully:

1. The truck starts, rives, nd stops! The original gas engine is running on 5 cylinders ONLY but runs surprisingly well on 5 cylinders and is roadworthy.

2. An extra 6 cylinder gas replacement engineis availablewith the truck (if desired).

3. Clear Pennsylvania title

4. No transmission or clutch issues - 4 speed tranny

5. Chain Drive functions well!

6. All accessories currently photographed on the truck go with the truck.

7. The Mack is currently on display at a fire museum.

8. The hood and front fenders were repainted. The rest of the paint and striping are original.

9. 1000 GPM Rotary Gear pump - I have not pumped this truck - the pump appears to be original and complete.

10. Tires are FAIR!

11. Hood area was repainted some time in the past - the rest of the truck features original paint and striping.

12. I replaced the later-styled sealed-beam headlights with "period correct" type bulb headlights, ut the headlights were never wired in.
