Description of 1911 Other Makes Elmore |
This is a 1911 Elmore Model 25 Touring Car. It requires a full restoration. It is mostly complete. The front wheels have had new wood spokes installed professionally. This car never had the optional top. nbsp;the body is ironed for a top but there are plugs in the sockets where the top brackets would screw in. Elmore cars were manufactured from 1900 to 1912 in Clyde. Ohio. The company was purchased by General Motors Co. in 1909 so this car was built while the company was part of General Motors. Don't miss this opportunity to purchase a very rare and unique automobile. Elmore was one of the few automakers that produced two-cycle engines. They built more two-cycle engines than any other automaker. Please call me at 402-746-2248 with any questions about this car. |
