This is a 1950 Mercury that someone started to restore and just did not finish. The engine was rebuilt. new clutch. transmision was inspected. new u-joints. rear end gone through. new exhaust. Has a new electric fuel pump. refurbished radiator with a polished top. new points. condenser. tc. Has a new wiring harness installed and wired in. car is 12 volt with a adapter to convert gauges down to 6 volt. The wiring needs to be finished. The suspension in the front is new. kingpins. tie rod ends. springs. etc. Rear has new springs. shocks. bushings. Has 5 new in 05 bias ply tires with very nice wheel covers and trim rings. The car runs and drives but does need a alignment. I have video of the car running and driving by request. Interior is nicely recovered. Has a new headliner (seen in picture laying on roof of car). has very nice steering wheel and horn button. horn works. Dash is nice and not cut up. gauges need to be hooked up to voltage drop box yet. Has nice visors and all new gaskets for windshield (installed) rear window (installed) trunk seal. door gaskets. indow felts. The cars body has rust in spots. As far as I can see its mostly original yet but has been worked on in spots. The right inner rocker was replaced and they started on drivers side but did not finish. Left quarter has rust. A few small spots in floor on pass side. left inner rocker needs a little work. The cars body is very solid. The right side has a scrape down side but is not worthy of replacing any sheet metal. The paint is probably a 6 out of 10. It shines. but its not perfect. The car could be roadworthy in a short time and driven while you work on it if desired.
