1938 Anglia FORMER GASSE, semi pro streeted back in the early ninties during the time I was restoring Mopar muscle cars. Only 1338 (one thousand three hundred thirty eight) miles on the odometer since built. Car runs a super strong 500 h.p. Dodge 360 engine with rare AAR Cuda T/A Challenger "X" heads, rand new Holley 3310, eramic coated headers. 727 automatic tranny with Fairbanks manual valve body and a much narrowed Mopar 8 3/4" posi rear end with Strange axles and 488 gears .I have been told only 2 1938 Anglia / Ford 7Y are known to exist in the USA. Notice the absence of body vents ahead of the doors. THIS WAS FACTORY! Weld rodlite wheels . Car still has the original gasser roll cage, traight axle and dual leaf spring suspension up front but was updated to 4 link in the rear. NOT PICTURED are the wheelie bars. One piece fiberglass front end is the original 1966 A&A Fiberglass tilt unit, ear fenders are widened fiberglass, ut an original skinny gasser set are included (not pictured). All the rest of the body is SOLID AND IS NO RUST REPAIR STEEL. Brushed stainless steel gas tank in the rear holds about 12 gallons. Car runs and drives really well. I considered turning it back into the original gasser but now have other projects.
