Description of 1937 Ford Other |
Here is a 1937 Ford Slantback with a good running Chevy 350 engine with gear drive and a nice sounding cam that not too radical. The engine I was told by previous owner is a 1970 - 73 model 350. It has headers with dual exhaust and electric fan to keep it running cool. It has a 350 turbo transmission that shifts out good. This car has a dropped front axle with power disc brakes added. The rear is a Ford 9 inch with good hwy gears. It has coilover shocks on rear as well. This car has been done awhile but is still a cool old school hotrod. The satin black paint with the bright yellow flames tell you its been done awhile. It's an all steel car but the body work that was done is not great but was not meant to be. This is not a rusted out piece. Yea I am sure it has some filler but it's not full of bondo either. It was done to be a driver. The interior has high back racing style seats and they sit really good. It has all Dolphin gauges that look to be pretty new and they all work including the speedometer and gas gauge. The carpet look good as does the headliner. There is no back seat. The windows are power and they work. It has a B&M floor shifter. The steering column is chrome with tilt. This 37 Ford is a good running car and drives good as well. It is ready to be driven and enjoyed as is or it's a good car for a high dollar restoration. I don't know the miles on engine or transmission but they run and shift good. I have alot more pics if anyone in interested in seeing them just let me know. This 37 Ford is also for sale locally and on other sites so auction could end early. It is being sold as is with no warranty given or implied in anyway. Pre Sale inspections are always welcomed and encouraged so you will know exactly what you are bidding on but this must be done Before End of Auction!! If you bid and meet reserve and are high bidder at end of auction then you have bought it. Please understand this. Any questions please ask as I have described the best I could. This is not a show car by any means but not priced as such either. It is being sold with a current Georgia registration as Georgia is a non title state on any vehicle this old. You will be able to get a title in your state with the paperwork I give you so don't worry about this. Thanks for looking |
