Selling my 1948 Chevy Fleetmaster 2dr.Its has the stock 6cyl with the head being reworked for unleaded/rad recored at that time. trans is new with 2k miles on it with new clutch and all linkage (shifts like new). Every wire is new to 12 volt with updated fuse block, attery, lternator and all lights work, igh beam/brakes/signals/all dash lights. Gauges--speedo/odometer and oil pressure/temp work --gas gauge when it feels like it. new gas tank/sending and electric fuel pump.Firestone tires with 500 miles. All brakes/cylinders/lines and master cylinder new--however pulls quite hard to right on strong braking, o have some adjustment to do. I am driving it like that as I am aware and comfortable with it and will adjust it at some point, 've put 1,000 miles on it in the last 2 months. All glass was out with new rubbers and regulatorsNew seat/headliner upholstery with correct material, ew seat belts.Have the stainless trim and original radio that goes with the car, nd new trunk/door rubbers that will go on after paint (if I paint it)All new front end--kingpins idler arm etc.Things to do. wiper motor is non-op as it is not changed to 12 volt (you can buy them converted--just have not done that yet)The worst part is that the pan gasket needs replaced---so if you fill to full it will leak one quart out over a week or two---once it is at the pan gasket level it does not leak--so what is needed is to lift the engine enough to clear the oil pump to drop the pan and replace the gasket---really quite a pain--but am committed to it at some point.I have 12.5k into the car andhave set the reserve lower than that. looking for a 1963 -66 chevy truck or el caminoI drive the 48 daily--so it is a completely functional ride.
