1965 Chevy C-10 selling at NO RESERVE!!!! *********. *** This truck has been TOTALLY rebuilt with a frame off build. The only part of truck not redone was the original paint that was sprayed with a Gloss Clear coat to preserve the awesome patina. There is over $20,000 in new parts alone!!!!!! It would cost you well over $40,000 to have a truck like this built for you at a shop. The frame was stripped down, lasted and painted a Graphite color. I have over 120 pictures detailing the complete build. This is a FRESH build and was JUST completed!! Powertrain: Motor:5.3 LS with Low Mileage around 45,000. I personally pulled the motor out of a wrecked 2003 Chevy truck. I installed a new Edelbrock Intake with a 625 Edelbrock Carburetor, okar oil dipstick, ew water pump, ew oil pan and new one wire alternator. It is cooled by a new aluminum radiator with aluminum shroud and electric fan. It has a new Holley electric fuel pump. RUNS GREAT Transmission: 700r4 rebuilt 4,500 miles ago pulled from another truck I have. It has a Lokar dipstick, okar nostalgic shifter and a TCI flywheel with new torque converter. I also put in a new filter and fluid when I installed it in this truck. It has metal trans cooler lines run all the way to radiator. SHIFTS GOOD and SMOOTH Drivetrain: Driveshaft: The driveshaft is fully rebuilt with a new slip yoke, ew u-joints and new carrier bearing with billet aluminium housing. Rear Axle: Rear end is out of a 1987 C10 that also had low miles around 65,000. Spring pads where cut off and new ones welded on to mount to the trailing arms. Steering and Suspension: Front: The front suspension consist of a cradle from an 87 C10 with new upper control arms with new bushings and ball joints. Lower control arms are new tubular control arms from DJM and 3 inch lowering spindles. It has new coil spings with one coil cut out to make it sit lower. It also has new shocks Rear: Rear suspension has new tubular trailing arms from CPP mounted to the new crossmember also from CPP. It has 5 inch lowering springs from CPP mounted with new spring retainers and two inch lowering blocks. The panhard bar is a new adjustable bar. It too is from CPP. Steering: It has a power steering box off a 87 C10 mounted with a conversion kit from CPP and it has new lines going to the pump. The original column was cut and a new universal joint welded to shaft. From that u-joint is a new 3/4 DD steering shaft to the new universal joint mounted on the box. Brakes: Master cylinder and booster are new. Front Brakes: Front brakes are completely brand new with new rotors, ew bearings, ew seals, ew lines, ew calipers and new pads. Rear Brakes: Rear brakes were pulled inspected and put back on. It does have a new rubber line from frame to axle with new metal lines on the axle on both sides. Electrical: Truck was completely rewired with a kit from EZ-WIRE. Everything inside and outside the truck works as it should. All bulbs are new as are the headlights, ackup lights and rear lenses. It has a new battery, lternator and starter. It has all new Shark Gauges and new fuel sending unit in tank. The light switch is new and so is the fan blower motor Interior: The interior was totally rebuilt to look new again. The small rust spots there were in the floor were cut out and replaced with sheetmetal welded in. The floor was then sprayed with Lizard Skin to reduce road noise before the new carpet kit was installed with new sill plates. IT has a new interior light. A new windsheild with new gasket was also put in. The weather strip around the doors are new and the side windows have new felts, ew runners and new felt in the division bar. (wing window rubbers were not replaced). The glove box was also replaced with a new one, nd the seat was rebuilt then recovered in an original style. Bed:The bed has new stained and clear coated oak planks with new polished stainless steel bed strips and all new polished stainless bolts all from LMC. Tires:Tire are brand new Champiro tires from Discount Tire. The fronts are 215/70r15 and rears are 225/75r15. I'm sure I'm leaving something out. If you have any questions please message me.
