Description of 1954 Other Makes Manhattan

The car was sold new in November of 1953 at the Kaiser Dealership in Stillwater. Ok. We bought the car in 2004 from the original owner. where the car had been sitting in his garage for approximately 10 years. Upon bringing it back to Stillwater we rebuilt with parts from Kanter Auto:Distributor- Points/Condenser/BushingsCarb- Master Kit- 2 Barrel Plug WiresPlugsCap and Rotor New Coil and 6v Battery. All the instruments (including speedometer) are true and correct. We went through and brought the running gear up to date. The car runs and drives like a dream. We had a body shop in Tulsa. OK repaint the car with the original colors. The shop that did the paint job was not careful with their taping so there are places where the rubbers have paint on them. We also had the shop paint the interior window trim pieces. The interior is intact except for the back of the Drivers seat has a 8 inch 3 cornered tear. All interior is original and in good shape aside from that tear. The Supercharger was designed by Henry J Kaiser. It has an electric kick down switch that varies the speed of the Turbo Charger when under full acceleration. I can give you any information not listed here if you call me.
