Description of 1958 Other Makes F-350

PANELS ARE AS STRAIGHT AS THE DAY IT LEFT THE SHOWROOM FLOOR!!
ONE OF THE FINEST SURVIVINGF O R D F-3 5 0 S T A K E B E D SIN EXISTENCE
In 1958 the Ford Motor Company only produced 2,548 F-350 Stakebeds and this vehicle was ordered with the optional dual rear wheels with the Fordomatic automatic transmission and the chrome grill as this is a Ford one ton pickup with these features added. These trucks were usually ordered with commercial usage tendencies and most have long ago been recycled and junk yarded over the past 60 years and very few remain in good condition, especially in this condition.
I have never seen a1958 Ford F-350in this configuration and I don't believe that you can restore one to this level for twice my asking price, as this truck is a veritable time capsule. The truck drives like a late model vehicle as it is tight, responsive, handles and stops well and is very attractive, very reliable and lots of fun. The truck now gets very light usage and has only been used to haul my kayak to my Florida fishing spots and draws a crown every place I take it.
The truck up until very recently has been a one owner truck out of Norfolk, Virginia where it resided its entire life in a barn until I purchased and transported it to Florida. The truck has absolutely no rust and has undergone a very light cosmetic restoration (freshening up) with the following attention to details.
1. New paint inside and out, on the wheels and engine bay.2. Brakes- all new from the wheel cylinders out, including lines.3. All new exhaust system from the front to the back.4. Gas tank has been cleaned and relined with a new float guage.5. New fuel pump and new carburetor.6. New front tires and all new rubber seals around the windshields (front and back) door jambs ect.7. New spark plugs and new NAPA battery.8. New Windshield (front and rear).9. The stake bed was removed and the wood replaced and the underneath is solid and rust free.
The wood stakes are freshly primed and painted and the truck is only slightly larger than a standard pickup and can be shipped easily which I can fully arrange expeditiously and inexpensively, about $0.78 per mile or fly into Miami, airport and drive the truck home. The engine is a 223 six cylinder "Mileage Marker" which is considered very reliable and bullet proof and even used in tractors with 139 HP and 203 lb-foot torque and the Fordomatic transmission is crisp and smooth shifting throughout all of the gears.
The truck does not leak any fluids or smoke at all and shows just 90k miles on the odometer which are actual miles and the speedometer and odometer are perfectly functional and drives like a low mileage truck. All lights and gauges work but the fuel gauge is fickle. The only reason that I am selling is that I have lost my storage and I will be sad to see it go as I want this well preserved truck to go to an enthusiast.
This truck will absolutely not disappoint and will only appreciate in value. Interesting trades considered.
