This car was part of a large collection of cars my father had, he bought this Metz sometime in the 1970's from a good friend of his who had restored it. His friend even drove it on the Glidden Tour in 1958! It was in good dry barn storage for years, until last year when I pulled it out. Now it is sitting in my garage. A friend got it running for me last fall, so it does run. I'm sure there will be other items that will need attention to make it a driver, such as the radiator will need some work etc. The body is very good, there is one spot of bondo on the left rear fender that I've pictured. The paint overall is very good considering it's what was put on 60 years ago, but there are a few places where the paint has chipped/flaked off. This is a friction drive vehicle, and I guess the friction wheel might need some work as well. I am not at all knowledgeable about the mechanical things of these cars, so I doubt I can answer any questions regarding any mechanical things. This Metz was featured in a calendar several years ago. My father loved this car, so I would like to see it go to a good home! I might be able to deliver in my enclosed trailer for a fee if the car is paid for beforehand. Since Vermont was always a non-title state for older vehicles, I don't have a title but I can probably now get one if you need it, since Vermont has recently changed on that issue. Thanks and good luck!
